Hemeixin Electronics Co.,Ltd.
In the previous videos we looked at the building of the metal frame work and the plywood table to support our CNC project, Now I take you through the Electrical Panel and the Gantry wiring. the electrics are divided into three parts,The Gantry including Stepper Wiring, Limit Switches and Cable management :- Control Panel including Power Supplies, Gecko Controllers, Arduino and again Cable ManagementFinally a few words of wisdom that I learned along the way… Oh and what happens when an Arduino UNO and 24V get together… Its HOT Most of the Electronics for this project where kindly supplied by RS-Components to whome I am very grateful… Thanks Guys.To find many if not all the electronics used in this project so far, look to select your country and you should then be able to check prices and availabilityhere are a few links to the UK site products used on the project, if your in a different region then get the part number and look in your region site. Sinec I started this project, I have also noticed the priices for these components have significantly lowered which is great for anyone wanting to follow alongNema 23 Stepper Motors :- 7 A Stepper Motor Stepper Drive 1 Output Switch Mode DIN Rail Panel Mount Power Supply, 48V dc, 10A 1 Output Switch Mode DIN Rail Panel Mount Power Supply, 24V, 5A Rail Top Hat, TS35 Slotted, 1m x 35mm x 7.5mm Chain Trunking PVC Open slot Cable Trunking Block DIN Rail Terminal Proximity Sensor Connectors and I used the same for the Sensors but 3 pin versionWire was sourced locallyExtrusions are from SNB Solutions who now have additional plates and extrusions for building bigger and better CNC Machines to meet pretty much any ones needs along with numerous other parts including electronics in support of your project, ask for SAMBiggest tip on the wiring, consider the possibility of having to replace or upgrade things at a later date, how easy is it to replace a gantry plate for instance. I changed my wiring part in to anticipate changing an end plate by not using the holes in the plate for the wires
